RFID CERTIFIED!
RFID Certified!, a half-day course following RFID Now!, RFID At Work! and RFID Optimized!, is designed to prepare attendees to successfully complete the CompTIA (the Computing Technology Industry Association) RFID+™ Certification exam. CompTIA, working with leading RFID industry experts, has created the global standard of competency for entry level RFID professionals. The mission of this certification is to provide a vendor-neutral certification that validates an RFID technician's knowledge and skills in the areas of installation, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of hardware and software functionality of RFID products.
In RFID Certified! attendees will:
- Review key RFID principals of physics from across multiple frequency bandwidths.
- Study standards, regulations and protocols and the roles played by various governing bodies.
- Further discuss differences between tag design and applications; interrogators configuration; and the purpose, installation and maintenance of common peripherals.
- Investigate site analysis best practices and key issues queried on the exam.
- Explore diagnostic procedures and recommended troubleshooting techniques.
- Explore sample questions, discuss test-taking practices and engage in a mock-exam in preparation of the certification exam.
Upon completion of RFID Certified! attendees will be prepared to take the CompTIA RFID+™ Certification exam.
